Three days.
A complete coaching system.
Coaches are paired before the course begins. Your partner is your client for all three days: you consult them, assess them, and build their program. Every session is scheduled and led by OPEX instructors.
The Person.
Behavior change principles, the OPEX consultation, and the Body, Move and Work assessment. You run a consultation and perform a full physical assessment on your partner.
The Training.
Energy system training across resistance, aerobic and anaerobic work. Classroom instruction in the morning, followed by a practical session on the gym floor.
The Delivery.
Program design in CoachRx. Long-term planning, periodization, session prescriptions, and lifestyle and nutrition, built for the client you assessed on Day 1.
Welcome and Orientation
Course structure, instructor introductions, and partner assignments.
Principles of Behavior Change
Why information alone does not change client behavior, and how to structure a coaching relationship around that reality.
Break
The OPEX Consultation
The structure and objectives of a first client meeting: history, priorities, values and goal setting. What to gather, and how to record it.
Consult Your Partner Practical
Twenty minutes in each direction, using your partner's completed intake form, followed by an instructor-led group debrief.
Lifestyle and Nutrition Assessment
Scoring a client against the seven Basic Lifestyle Guidelines, and identifying which habit to address first.
Lunch
Transition to gym floor
OPEX Move: The Movement Screen Gym floor
Eight movement screens demonstrated and then performed in pairs under instructor supervision. Interpreting limitations and asymmetries for exercise selection.
OPEX Body and Work Gym floor
Body composition and objective baseline measures, followed by a capacity test recorded minute by minute.
Assessment Review
Three assessments from the group reviewed with instructors: findings, interpretation, and programming implications.
Recap and Overview
Review of Day 1 assessment data and how it will be used across the remainder of the course.
Energy Production and ATP
How the body produces and replenishes ATP, and how the three energy systems differ in rate, capacity and recovery requirement.
Break
OPEX Gain: Resistance Training
Training age, the contraction and strength continuums, exercise selection from a movement screen, loading, tempo, and dose response.
OPEX Sustain: Aerobic Training
The MAP continuum, aerobic progression, interpreting a client's pacing data, and defining sustainable intensity.
OPEX Pain: Anaerobic Training
Interval design, work-to-rest ratios, progression, and the criteria for determining whether anaerobic work is appropriate for a client.
Lunch
Transition to gym floor
Practical: Resistance Dosing Gym floor
The same exercise and repetition scheme performed at two tempos, with time under tension recorded and compared.
Practical: Aerobic Dosing Gym floor
Structured intervals at a self-selected sustainable pace, with output recorded each set to establish whether the pace was repeatable.
Practical: Anaerobic Dosing Gym floor
Identical work performed under two different rest prescriptions, with output recorded for comparison.
Session Review
Group comparison of recorded data, and how work-to-rest ratio determines which energy system is trained.
Client Setup CoachRx
Creating your partner's client profile and entering the assessment data collected on Day 1.
The Design System
The five-step design process: assess, prioritize, plan, periodize, prescribe. What the research shows about periodization models and what actually drives adaptation.
Build: Prioritize and Plan CoachRx
Establishing your client's position across health, function and expression, then defining the aim and the constraints the program must work within.
Break
Macro, Meso and Micro Planning
Structuring the training year, the cycle and the week. Long-term periodization and reverse engineering a plan from a fixed date.
Build: The Long-Term Plan CoachRx
Setting a twelve-month direction and the next training cycle, with instructor review at each stage.
Concurrent Training and the Training Week CoachRx
How resistance, aerobic and anaerobic work are organized within a week, then building your client's week around their availability.
Lunch
Build: Session Prescriptions CoachRx
Writing the first week of training across all three energy systems. Instructor-led, one system at a time, with each prescription reviewed against the client's assessment data.
Build: Lifestyle and Nutrition Prescription CoachRx
Prescribing the priority habit identified on Day 1 and establishing nutritional targets, scheduled and measurable within the platform.
Ongoing Delivery
The operating rhythm for managing a full roster: design cadence, reassessment intervals, and client touchpoints.
Close and CCP Pathway
Course review and the requirements for completing the Certified Coaching Program credential.
A completed consultation
Conducted with a live subject and reviewed by an instructor.
A full OPEX assessment
Body, Move and Work, performed and recorded in person.
An individualized program
Periodized and built in CoachRx for the client you assessed.
A documented design process
The five-step system, applied end to end and ready to repeat.

What happens between enrolling and the event?+
You start immediately. The full CCP digital program opens the day you enroll, and most coaches work through the online material before the live days so the three days in the room hit even harder.

Yes. You can pay in full, split it into 2 payments, or spread it across 12 monthly payments. When you sign up, our coach advocate will help you set up the plan that fits.
I'm a CCP graduate. Is this for me too?+
Absolutely. There's a dedicated alumni rate for certified CCP coaches who want three days in the room, live refinement of their craft, and the community that comes with it. Our coach advocate will get you set up with it when you sign up.
Do I get certified at the event?+
The event delivers the full curriculum live. After the event you complete your final project, OPEX reviews it, and you earn your CCP certification. You leave the room on track, and finish certified.
